Guests staying with us have full use of our canoes, kayaks and peddle boats free of charge. We also have a good supply of life jackets at no charge. There is a small island just a few minutes boat ride from our beach that serves as a fun adventure for young and old alike.

Spectacle Lake is a land-locked lake and as such, has very limited motorboat traffic. This adds to the peace and tranquility of the lake, and it also helps preserve the clarity and cleanliness of the lake. Swimming in the lake is a wonderful treat.

For the motoring enthusiasts, we have a new 2010 Legend 14' Aluminum Wide Body with 9.9hp Mercury 4 Stroke. $125 per day, $250 for 3-day weekend, or $495 for a week

For the fishin’ folks, you can cast your line right from our dock and are almost assured to catch something! Spectacle Lake is populated with Perch, Bass, Splake, and Sunfish, so summer (or winter) the fishing is great.

Walking, Hiking, Mountain Bike Trails, ATVs… there is something close by for everyone. There is access to most trails right from the lodge, and for the more adventurous, you can drive just minutes to the East Gate of Algonquin Park and literally travel for hundreds of miles.

Our licensed patio is an ideal setting to enjoy a cocktail, a casual lunch or just the lovely view.

We have a 6-person outdoor hot tub that is available for use year round to all our guests.
