Reservation Guarantee Policy

Spectacle Lake Lodge requires that all reservations be guaranteed by a valid credit card number and expiry date at the time of booking.
July & August accommodations require a 2-night minimum stay.
Off Season – Rooms & Cottages may be reserved for 1 night, except for Long Weekends and Special Events we do maintain a 2 night minimum.

Reservation Cancellation

Due to our intimate size, cancellations affect us significantly. A last-minute cancellation gives us little chance of filling the space due to our remote location. For these reasons we uphold a strict cancellation policy. Should you need to cancel or change your reservation we require 48hrs notice for room & cottage rentals.
Group Room & Cottage rentals (3 or more units) require 4 weeks notice. No exceptions.

The Lodge will charge one night's accommodation rate and taxes to the credit card on file at the booked rate for any reservations that fail to check-in to the resort on the scheduled arrival date.

Check-in time is guaranteed for anytime after 3:00pm, checkout time is 11:00am. If your check-in time is later than 9:00pm please plan with our front desk for a late check-in.

Spectacle Lake Lodge is proud to offer smoke/vape free accommodations. Violators will be subject to a $200.00 cleaning charge.

All damages to structure, content or property are your responsibility. Replacement costs will be applied directly to your credit card.

Occupancy Policy for each adult person over the maximum occupancy of a room or cottage there will be an additional charge of $50.00 per adult person per night. Minimum Age for Room Occupants Guests must be 19 years of age or older to rent accommodation at The Lodge. Spectacle Lake Lodge reserves the right to ask for photo I.D. to verify the room occupant's ages upon check-in.

Spectacle Lake Lodge accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Interac and Cash. Upon check-in at the lodge, a preauthorization will be put on your credit card for the total room and taxes, (this is not a charge, only a preauthorization). Your credit card will be processed on day of checkout if you have not made other arrangements by 11 a.m.

Out of respect for our individual guests, Spectacle Lake Lodge enforces a "quiet-time" policy between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. This covers all property of The Lodge and guest accommodations (no loud activities, loud noise from audio equipment or other appliances). Guests who do not observe our "quiet-time policy" may be asked to leave or denied guest reservations. Should a guest room be asked to leave the Lodge, the cost of the guest room and deposit will not be refunded to the evicted guests.
