We’re excited to share that Spectacle Lake Lodge officially transitioned to new ownership on January 5 and proudly reopened on January 30 following essential repairs. Our family is honoured to continue the legacy of the Lodge and is enthusiastic about bringing fresh ideas and thoughtful improvements to enhance your experience for years to come.
A Message to Our Guests
At Spectacle Lake Lodge, we believe in transparency and continuous improvement.
We want to acknowledge that some areas of the property—both inside and out—have experienced a period of limited maintenance, which may have caused inconvenience. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding.
Behind the scenes, we are actively working on important upgrades, including improvements to plumbing, electrical systems, and kitchen operations. At the same time, we are committed to enhancing the visible aspects of the property so your experience continues to improve with each visit.
As We Move Forward
As part of this exciting transition, we’d like to share a few current updates:

Internet Access
Wi-Fi is currently available within the Lodge only and has limited range beyond this area. We are actively working to expand coverage across the property. -
Television Service
Satellite TV is no longer available. To ensure you can still enjoy a relaxing night in, we will be adding DVD players to each cabin and room, along with a selection of movies. -
Hot Tub
Our hot tub is temporarily out of order due to damage. We are working toward repairing it in the coming months. -
Roof Maintenance
We are currently managing some roof leaks in a few areas. These are being temporarily addressed until weather conditions allow for proper repairs.

Outdoor Experiences at their Best!
Summertime at Spectacle Lake Lodge invites everything from Lounging on the beach with your toes deep in the sand,
taking Peaceful Swim, or a Canoe, Kayak or Paddleboard out
for a Tranquil Tour around the lake and perhaps drop a line
for a Quick Catch, to enjoying a Snack on our Licensed Patio
with a Cool Beverage, all allowing you to let the stresses of
day to day life simply slip away.
There is always something for Families to do at Spectacle Lake Lodge. Corn Hole, Yardzee, Badminton and other Lawn Games. Enjoy a peaceful walk along the nearby 50 kms of All Purpose Trails. Return to the Lodge for delicious Smokerlicious Dinner served on our Licensed Patio overlooking the lake. Then, as the sun disappears for the day, head back to the beach and pull up one of the comfy beach lounge chairs, join others at our Community Campfire, look up to the night sky and be mesmerized by a Star-lit Light Show. For this event alone the Lodge brings star gazers from around the country to steal a glimpse of nature’s wonders.

Spectacle Lake Lodge is pleased to offer 6 Lodge Rooms. Each room has inside access to the Front Office, the Smokehouse Restaurant and Fireside Lounge. All lodge rooms are equipped with full linens, hairdryer, mini fridge, coffee maker (featuring our special Smokehouse Blend, roasted locally), ice bucket, mugs and glassware. All lodge rooms are steps from the Outdoor Hot Tub.
A Communal Campfire Pit, on the Beach, for All Lodge Rooms. Campfire wood is available for purchase.
All 9 Cabins have their own Picnic Table and Campfire Pit. Campfire wood available for purchase.
The Lakeside Smokehouse is the Lodge's Signature Restaurant featuring our ever popular Smokerlicious smoke system by
Prepared daily by our Talented Culinary Staff and served in our multi-level dining room or seasonal deck overlooking our beautiful Spectacle Lake. Gluten-free, Vegetarian and Special Dietary Options are also available.
We offer delicious desserts which are always enjoyed with a yummy ‘Spectacle Lake Lodge’ Special Blend Coffee in our cozy Fireside Lounge to complete your evening.
