Reservation Guarantee Policy

Spectacle Lake Lodge requires that all reservations be guaranteed by a valid credit card number and expiry date at the time of booking. Credit card numbers will be charged at time of booking at 50% of your stay.
July & Aug – Weekend accommodations require a 2 night minimum stay.
Off Season – Rooms can be reserved for 1 night, except for Long Weekends and Special Events we do maintain a 2 night minimum.   Cottage require a 2 night minimum stay on weekends. 

Reservation Cancellation

Due to our intimate size, cancellations affect us significantly.  A last minute cancellation gives us little chance of filling the space due to our remote location.  For these reasons we uphold a strict cancellation policy.
Should you need to cancel or change your reservation we require 48hrs notice for room rentals.
Cottage rentals require 4 weeks notice during Peak Season (May – October), and 48hrs notice during off season.  No exceptions. 

Reservation "No Show" Charge

The Lodge will charge one night's accommodation rate and taxes to the credit card on file at the booked rate for any reservations that fail to check-in to the resort  on the scheduled arrival date.

Check In, Check Out Time

Check-in time is guaranteed for anytime after 3:00pm, checkout time is 10:00am.
If your check-in time is later than 9:00pm please make arrangements with our front desk for a late check-in. 

Smoking Policy

Spectacle Lake Lodge is proud to offer smoke/vape free accommodations. Violators will be subject to a $250.00 cleaning charge. 

Occupancy Policy
For each person over the maximum occupancy of a room or cottage there will be an additional charge of $40.00 per person per night.

Minimum Age for Room Occupants

Guests must be 19 years of age or older to rent accomodation at The Lodge. Spectacle Lake Lodge reserves the right to ask for photo I.D. to verify the room occupant's ages upon check-in.

Method of Payment
Spectacle Lake Lodge accepts Visa, MasterCard, Interac and Cash . Upon check-in at the lodge, a pre-authorization will be put on your credit card for the total room and taxes, (this is not a charge, only a pre-authorization). Your credit card will be processed on day of checkout.

Inn & Resort Quiet-Time

Out of respect for our individual guests, Spectacle Lake Lodge enforces a "quiet-time" policy between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. This covers all property of The Lodge and guest accommodations (no loud activities, loud noise from audio equipment or other appliances). Guests who do not observe our "quiet-time policy" may be asked to leave or denied guest reservations. Should a guest room be asked to leave the Lodge, the cost of the guest room and deposit will not be refunded to the evicted guests.
